A rainbow baby is a baby that is welcomed by a family after there has been a loss experience due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or premature birth. While the rainbow baby doesn't negate the storm that came before, it is a beautiful celebration of life and the love that lives on for the baby/babies that came before but never had the chance to come home. 
After my years of experience and volunteer work with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, I knew I wanted to offer something in my studio to these families as well. Rooted in my strong ethical desire to help others and celebrate the new life, I'm honored to be able to offer these rainbow sessions to one family a month on a first come, first serve basis. This gift allows the families to cherish their rainbow baby in the first weeks of life for eternity, plus it helps open the discussion that is sensitive and important to have for families of loss and infertility.
Please allow a minimum of 12 weeks prior to your due date in order to be considered for this session - the earlier the inquiry, the better. 

Rainbow Session Families will receive:
2 hour newborn session including family, parent and sibling imagery
Fully retouched images
10 digital files with a print release
Images will be presented in a private, password protected online gallery
Access to all Melissa's props, wraps, outfits, tiebacks, bows and hats
First dibs on 6 and 12 month sessions
Discounts on prints and products
Exclusive client specials
Eligible for the Mom of the Month Contest hosted in my private, VIP Facebook Group, monthly

These sessions will take place in my studio in Jasper, IN from Monday through Friday 10am to 2pm EST. 
All information must be provided before the session.


Rainbow session requirements:
Fully signed model release
Rainbow session will be completed within the first 14 days of life, or 5 days after the NICU stay has ended
*Family agrees not to book another studio newborn session with another photographer (excluding hospital images, birth, fresh 48)
**Contact within five days after birth to schedule your session date/time

*If family books another studio newborn session with another photographer, family agrees to pay for a full session with Melissa Adams, LLC
**If the family doesn't contact Melissa within 5 days to set up their session there will be $100 fee and it will be donated to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep on Melissa's behalf
